July 8, 2006 Update of PSM Formation Activities

St. Philomena and Holy Family Parish

- First meeting of key parishioners has been rescheduled for July 11th, 3:00 p.m.  Steve will present them with an overview of the PSM Formation process.

St. Stephen and Blessed Sacrament Parish

- First meeting of their "Joint Social Justice Committee" is July 14th, 9:30 a.m.

Sacred Heart Manoa Punahou Catholic Community

- First Brainstorming Session with key parishioners is July 13th, 6:00 p.m.

Compassion Capital - Fellows Program 2006

July 7th Workshop - Financial Management, Web-based Reporting, at UH Campus Center, Executive Dining Room.  Learned that we will receive the results of our Fund Request next week (2 weeks late); and that we may have a three month extension.  Select Fellows may receive a "second round" opportunity for another year.  University of Hawaii Center on the Family has been in discussions with Federal Agencies and will provide us with a written plan.
